Yes, under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, all non-domestic premises must have a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment carried out by a competent person.
How often should a fire risk assessment be reviewed?
Generally every 12 months, or sooner if there are significant changes to building layout, occupancy, or processes. Bristol Fire offers scheduled review services.
How many fire marshals do I need?
It depends on your premises size, number of employees, and risk level. Our risk assessment will advise on the required ratio. Typically at least 1 per floor/shift.
